Ideaforge Technology was developed by a team of IIT- Bombay graduates in 2007. In collaboration with DRDO they came out with NETRA UAS which aims at high endurance hovering platforms and fixed-wing UAS platforms. The company is a leading provider of unmanned aerial vehicles to defence and homeland security establishments in India.

Product Description

Netra, ideaForge’s flagship product is a lightweight autonomous unmanned aircraft system (UAS). It is designed for rapid deployment and high-mobility for military and commercial operations. Netra is a short-range rotor-armed UAS comprising the capabilities of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) ability, quick deployment and hover and stare capability. Netra meets the military & civil requirements for low-altitude reconnaissance, surveillance, mapping and target acquisition applications. It can be operated with manual assistance or programmed for autonomous operation, utilizing the system’s advanced avionics and GPS navigation. Netra falls under the micro UAV category and is man-portable, which can be launched from a small area and made to fly over the area of interest at a height up to 500m AGL. It is equipped with High Resolution day-light/thermal camera with a pan/tilt and zoom to facilitate real-time color or thermal imagery to ground control unit (GCU) for real-time surveillance and intelligence gathering capability. The zoom-in camera can identify human activity up to 500 m away, and can send live video feed of objects within a radius of 5 km. Netra can be launched in minutes from anywhere without any elaborate support facilities. It can even be launched and recovered in ships, boats and vehicle roofs. Automated features and GPS technology make it simple to operate, requiring no specialized skills or in-depth flight training.

Success Stories

Sensibol singing interface was deployed for Pepsi Vietnam to enable a brand-engagement campaign called Pepsi Kara Idol. The contest was completely digital and the winner was chosen by our algorithm. This campaign was conducted during the TeT festival in Vietnam and was a great success. Sales during campaign increased significantly.

We have partnered with the True School of Music to create a unique product which enables users to learn singing (both amatuer and professional) through an App called Learn to Sing. This app has gathered more than 120k downloads in over 4 months with a 4.7 rating. The user reviews clearly indicate how much value this is bringing to users who could not otherwise access singing lessons for multiple reasons. Through this App we intend to make music learning accessible to everyone.

Our patented technology are the cornerstone of our business. For example, in the case of audition or singing contest when clients want to ensure that the technology is indeed able to identify good versus bad singers, the patents that we have proven that point. In the case of music learning, it is not possible to envision a virtual Guru unless the technology that enables evaluation of singing proficiency is available which we have.

SR-SCARA-Pro is our maiden product, a lightweight SCARA robot arm customized for the HMI(Human Machine Interface including touch screen, buttons, keys and knobs) testing automation. SR-SCARA-Pro is built to save time and money alongside the improvement in accuracy and efficiency of real device testing. It can reach speeds more than 800 touches per minute.A typical manual testing cycle consisted of two people for 3-7 days. But by using our solution the client was able to do the same in less than 1 day and with a 2 to 3-hour test cycle coding. It’s only a single application of SR-SCARAPro. With vision feedback and AI our robot can interact with devices just like a human. Something we noticed:- With our robot Robert BOSCH delivering their projects 3 times faster with a considerably small team, thus beating their competition by a very noticeable gap. As so far we received 4 set of Purchase Orders from BOSCH, 5th one is processing and we are expecting the 6th one for 5 units within 3 months for their USA office. HCL is planning to reduce 10% of human resource from a particular project using our robots.

Robert BOSCH is our first and recurring client from the automotive industry, since 2014 they are using our robots for car infotainment system testing. In 2014 this product was put through continuous and rigorous testing by Robert Bosch at their Coimbatore lab. The product was then purchased in 2014 and later it was re- ordered in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Beside Robert BOSCH clients,HCL, Honeywell and Audience are purchased also lot of other industrial leaders, including Hyundai, Mercedes Benz, TCS, TATA ELXSI, Qualcomm, Panasonic, etc. are also interested in our products. So we are trying to optimize this generalized testing platform for the international market entry.

Intellectual Property

We have the patent pending for a touch screen testing robotic arm (complete patent filed in 2016 under PTC). Also we have a professional patient for a robotic gripper that can mimic human hand capabilities.

We have built Head Up Display product on Android which is the first of its kind product inside car. It projects in the field of view of the driver and avoids any distraction by allowing the driver to take any actions using gesture and voice control. G1 is the first completed project in exoskeleton. It is a 10 ft. high robot that can be operated by an individual by placing himself inside; it’s a prototype of the technology than can be used for defense purpose, space application, weight lifting and anywhere that requires some extra power and protection.

G2 is the second completed project in exoskeleton.It provides a sensational feedback we will feel like the machine as an extension of the body.It is a battery-powered functional exoskeleton.. It can weigh up to 220 lbs without affecting the user. The user can lift up to 60kg with an effective force of 500g on him and can walk with ease.

Genrobotics completed project G1 and G2. Now Genrobotics doing the research for the next level,Generation 2.5(G2.5) to develop an exoskeleton for using in Defense and construction industry. G2.5 completed its initial prototyping and now, in the phase of verifying engineering prototype. After finishing this phase, begin product design verification and piloting.

Also running Medical exoskeleton development in Taiwan at iFoundry with the collaboration of NTUT University of Technology).This project will help to support physically challenged people.

Another project named Bandicoot developing under Genrobotics for sewage cleaning and manhol e cleaning to remove the manhole deaths and entering into the manholes. The design phase of Bandicoot completed and currently on prototyping the product.

PerfectFit Systems: 3D Body scanning system

PerfectFit Systems is a startup recognized by the Startup India program body scanning systems for the Fashion and Healthcare industries technology in 2015 and launched the beta version in June India. Perfit 3D fashion solution currently doing pilot run in various locations in India and is considered for the India Project (Govt. of India).

Product Description

The Perfit Fitness system 3D scans a user and analyses their body metrics and limitation of motion of their joints to recommend exercises and rehabilitation schedules which is further approved by a trained doctor. The system also monitor the user's performance and improvement using real-time 3D scanning.

The Perfit Fashion system 3D scans the user to generate their body measurement which is then used to automatically cut apparel patterns from a fabric sheet. The Perfit Maker system assi fraction of the time taken by conventional manufacturing techniques. The virtual trail room system in the Perfit Fashion system displays the customer in the particular apparel of his choice in real time before production is started thereby reducing return rates and improving customer satisfaction.

Fitnano Technologies: Smart safety wearable

Description:

An electronic wireless i-card powered by li-ion battery having biometric fingerprint sensor and an SOS button, sends the data associated with the user to a wireless reader. The readers are installed at various locations inside the premises and are enabled with Wi-Fi and GSM. The moment user enters the premises, he/she scans the finger on the i-card and the i-card authenticates the user. The authenticated/ unauthenticated data is send to the reader and accordingly the reader sends the corresponding data to the cloud server. The result of the attendance can be seen on the mobile and web application. 

The system provides active safety as the campus can be divided in safe and danger zones (geo fencing). The moment any user enters a danger zone the alarm is triggered. There is an SOS button on the i-card and the user can trigger the SOS alarm in case of distress. The algorithm is optimized in such a way that it reduces the data traffic and power consumption to a great extent. The location of the users can be accessed on the app so it gives complete indoor navigation. 

Status of the Product/ Solution: 

The smart tracking solution is ready and negotiations with some of the school / university is going on for installation of solution. Demo version is already deployed in some of the schools. Some revenue has generated through pre-order sale of the solution. Recognized by DIPP through the Startup India program.

Description:

UnivLabs has designed new type of syringe which is 30% smaller in length compared to traditional syringe but carries the same volume of medication. This syringe has no outside plunger and the valve instead of being attached to plunger, moves over an inward shaft inside the syringe barrel. UnivLabs has designed this syringe to create Insulin Infusion Pump which is also called Insulin patch pump.  Since insulin patch pump is a wearable device it’s size is one of the most important factor which decides its acceptability. 

UnivLabs has designed a 3D endoscope camera design which needs smaller size incision on body compared to the existing one With UnivLabs design bigger sensors can be inserted in lesser diameter trocar or endoscope. With UnivLabs design the camera space is freed after insertion and expansion in body, leaving the way for other tool insertion. It is also assumed that it may lead to reduced incision in body for similar outcome surgeries. 

Status of the Product/ Solution: 

The products are ready and testing of these products is going on. The endoscope is capable in crating of import substitutes of the 85% of the import of endoscope.
